id card is thrc12/13 read-only contactless ic card. it is powered by card reader induction and reads out the unique card number stored in the chip eeprom. the card number is written once before the card is sealed and cannot be changed after the card is sealed. Passive and contact-free are the outstanding characteristics of the two Zui of the chip, and the RF interface circuit is the key core technology, which receives RF energy from the reader, generates power and clock for the chip, and uses phase shift keying and load amplitude modulation technology to realize the wireless communication between the card and the reader. Contactless id card has been widely used because of its advantages such as convenient, fast and reliable operation.

How id Cards Work

The system consists of a card, a reader, and a background controller. The working process is as follows:

(1) The reader sends the carrier signal through the antenna;

(2) after the card enters the working area of the card reader, the resonant circuit composed of the inductor and capacitor in the card receives the carrier signal transmitted by the card reader, and the radio frequency interface module of the chip in the card generates the power supply voltage, reset signal and system clock from this signal, which makes the chip "active";

(3) the chip reading control module modulates the data in the memory on the carrier after phase modulation coding, and sends it back to the card reader via the antenna in the card;

(4) The card reader demodulates and decodes the received card echo signal and sends it to the background computer;

(5) the background computer makes corresponding processing and control for different applications according to the legitimacy of the card number.
